In this regard, on 26 January 2025, a special ceremony was organized at Cadet College Palandri like the rest of the country under the chairmanship of Mr. Professor Amjad Ali, Vice Principal Cadet College Palandri so that the young generation can be made aware of the background of "Black Day" on this day and all the concepts related to it. Why do we celebrate 26 January, which is actually "Indian Republic Day", as "Black Day"?
A ceremony was held at Cadet College Palandri under the title of "26th January Black Day" in which Mr. Professor Amjad Ali, Vice Principal Cadet College Palandri along with all the esteemed faculty and all the cadet students gathered at Ghazi Millat Auditorium. After seeking permission from the Chief guest for the formal commencement of the ceremony, the stage secretary of the college, Cadet Noman Latif, formally commenced the program. As per the traditions of the Cadet College, the ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Naat Rasool Maqbool was recited. After this, the college stage secretary gave a brief introduction to this event. After this, a young speaker presented a very reasoned and effective speech related to this day in Urdu, especially how the so-called world's largest democracy, India, is continuously engaged in committing inhuman atrocities in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir with the indifference and silent support of the powerful nations of the world. At this time, the world is ignoring human, moral values and accepted international norms and has no clear plan of action. They are maintaining a criminal silence by neglecting to make it.
After this, another young cadet Hafiz Wasiq openly expressed his views on the same topic, in which he criticized the inhumane practices of India and its followers.
After this, the College Stage Secretary invited the Chief guest of the event, to speak to the cadet students about the importance of celebrating this day.
The Chief guest of the event, Mr. Professor Amjad Ali, gave a detailed and meaningful speech to the cadet students. He advised the students to keep their true national interests and objectives in mind for the young generation throughout their lives through parables.
At the end of the program, the anthem of the state of Azad Jammu and Kashmir was sung with full respect and at the end, the national anthem was sung with a renewal of the pledge that we will never compromise on our national interests. The young generation will perform their duties with full determination and confidence when the time comes. With this, the event ended.
